By accessing and using the Site, you (hereinafter the “User”) agree to, and agree to comply with, the present Conditions of Use and all future updates and revisions, without limitation.
Scope of use.
The purpose of the Site is to provide to promote the EMYO 2024 event to all Young Ophthalmologists across Europe. The event will take place in Padua and Venice on July 13 & 14, 2024. The website will be open access for generic and logistical information. Young Ophthalmologists will be able to register and pay for the event on the website by creating their own account.
THEA does not guarantee that the information available on this Site is appropriate for use outside the country in which it was created or by persons other than Young ophthalmologists, Théa staff. Anyone who chooses to access the Site does so on their own initiative and agrees to comply with local law.
Access to the Site and its use are reserved for strictly personal use. You agree not to use this Site and the information or data contained therein for commercial, political, advertising or any form of commercial solicitation, including the sending of unsolicited e-mail.
Connection:
The User is solely responsible for the confidentiality of its identifier and password and for all actions that may be implemented using its identifier and/or its password. The User must not under any circumstances infringe the security of its identifier and/or password, it must not, in particular, share it with any other person.
Intellectual property rights, author’s rights and associated rights.
The content of the Site, including photographs, texts, comments, illustrations, images animated or not, video sequences, sounds, as well as all the computer applications which could be used to operate this Site, whether or not accompanied by the © or ® signs, is protected by authors’ rights and other intellectual property rights and, unless indicated to the contrary, cannot be used, modified, transmitted or re-used without the prior written authorisation of Théa. The User undertakes to notify Théa without delay of any instance of fraud and/or unauthorised access of which it may be aware.
Brands.
Brands of products, commercial names and logos, drawings and models, and more generally, all author’s rights and intellectual property belonging Théa or its affiliates, or for which Théa or its affiliates have rights of use (referred to collectively as the “Brands”) appearing on this Site are Brands of Théa, its affiliates or third party.
No reference appearing on the Site can be construed as conferring, either implicitly, or otherwise, any transfer, licence or right to use any Brand appearing on the Site, without the prior, written authorisation of Théa or of any third party owning the said Brands. Your use of Brands appearing on the Site is strictly prohibited. Théa will employ all legal means in order to ensure the protection of their intellectual property, including any civil and/or penal prosecution.
Information published on the Site.
The Site contains information concerning health and medical treatments exclusively for human use. This information is published on the Site for informational purposes only and cannot in any way replace the advice of a physician, ophthalmologist or pharmacist. Management of the Site
For the good management of the Site, Théa can at any time:
- suspend, interrupt or limit access to all or part of the Site, reserve access to the site, or to certain parts of the Site, to a specific category of user;
- delete any information that may disrupt the operation of the Site or that may contravene national or international laws;
- suspend the Site in order to proceed with updates.
Warranty.
Despite all the care taken with the content of the Site in order to guarantee its accuracy, topicality, completeness and intelligibility, and despite its regular updating, Théa cannot be held responsible for any error or omission in the content of the Site. Théa does not provide any guarantee that the Site will be available or will function without interruption, that it will not contain errors or that errors will be corrected.
Liability of the User
The User shall guarantee Théa, its affiliates, managers, agents, employees, shareholders, legal representatives, successors and transferees, collectively and individually, against any use of the Site in contravention of the laws and regulations in force, and of these present Conditions of Use.
Applicable law – court jurisdiction.
The present Conditions of Use and the use of the Site are governed by French law and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, subject to a specific attribution of jurisdiction arising from a particular law or regulation.
Modifications.
Théa is entitled to review, modify, or delete, at any time, and without notice, these Conditions of Use governing the use of the Site.
